An image to PDF converter for forms, homework and receipts
An admission form wants your marksheets as one PDF. Your office wants expense receipts in a single file. A teacher wants six pages of handwritten homework, in order, not six loose pictures on WhatsApp. This page fixes that.
This is JPG to PDF online free with no catches: no daily cap, no account, and you can convert JPG to PDF without a watermark on any page. Because this image to PDF converter online runs inside your browser, it works on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Chromebook alike, and your pictures stay private.
Use the JPG to PDF converter online for a single scan, or as a photo to PDF converter for a whole stack of pages.
JPG to PDF joiner: many pictures, one document
Select all your pictures at once and they are merged into one PDF automatically: every image becomes one page, in the order shown in the list. Think of it as a JPG to PDF joiner: the merge happens as part of the conversion, with no separate step. Picked them in the wrong order? Drag a row up or down. Forgot one? Tap Add more files.
Already have PDFs you want to join with these images? Convert the pictures here first, then merge the PDF files into a single document. To shuffle or delete pages later, organize the PDF pages with drag and drop.
Can I get JPG to PDF in one page?
Each picture gets its own page, so one image gives you a one-page PDF. Placing two images on the same sheet, such as the front and back of an ID card, is not something this tool does by itself. Here is the workaround: convert the first image with Page size set to A4, open the result in the PDF editor, and use its Image button to place the second picture on the same page.
PNG to PDF, WebP, HEIC from iPhone, SVG, GIF and BMP
JPG is in the name, but the converter reads every common picture type, and you can mix them in one PDF. Each format also has its own page with notes for that type.
PNG to PDF online for screenshots
PNG files, usually screenshots, keep their full resolution up to 2,600 pixels on the long side. Transparent areas become white, which is what a printed page needs. The PNG to PDF converter page is the same tool with PNG-specific tips; PNG to PDF is free there too.
HEIC photos from iPhone, no settings change
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which most websites reject. Here they work: the HEIC is decoded inside your browser with a small decoder that loads on first use, about 1 MB, and the photo is never uploaded. Live Photos become their still image. There is no need to switch the camera to Most Compatible. See HEIC to PDF for more.
WebP, SVG, GIF and BMP
WebP pictures from websites and WhatsApp convert as they are; an animated WebP or GIF gives you its first frame. SVG drawings are rendered to pixels at about 1,600 pixels wide, so the PDF is not vector; fonts inside the SVG should be converted to paths first. BMP scans from old scanners are fine. Sister pages: WebP to PDF, SVG to PDF and the general image to PDF page. TIFF and camera RAW files are not accepted.
JPG to PDF without losing quality
Here is exactly what happens to your picture, so you can judge for yourself.
What JPG to PDF without compression really means here
Your image is placed on the page at its full size and saved inside the PDF at 88% JPEG quality, a level where differences are very hard to see. Pictures whose longer side is over 2,600 pixels are scaled down to 2,600, which still prints cleanly on a full A4 sheet, at about 220 dpi. So there is none of the heavy, blocky compression that blurs text. Sideways phone photos are turned upright automatically.
If you need to turn an image into a PDF without losing quality for printing, choose Page size: Same size as the image, so nothing is stretched to fit a sheet.
Tips for JPG to PDF in HD quality
The PDF can only be as good as the photo. To get a JPG or any other image to PDF with high quality, sharp HD text, start with a good picture:
- Shoot in daylight or under a bright lamp, with the phone held flat above the paper.
- Fill the frame with the page and crop away the table around it.
- Avoid WhatsApp-forwarded copies of a photo. They are already squeezed. Use the original JPG from your gallery to get the best quality PDF.
- For documents, the best quality image to PDF result often comes from a scan look rather than a colour photo. The scan to PDF tool makes paper look clean and white.
JPG to PDF in KB: hitting 100 KB, 200 KB, 300 KB, 500 KB or 2 MB limits
Upload portals love size limits. One wants your JPG as a PDF in 100 KB, another says 200kb, a university allows 2 MB. This converter has no size box of its own, because its job is to keep your picture looking good. Meeting a limit takes two short steps:
- Step 1: convert your images here as normal.
- Step 2: open the compress PDF tool with a target size, type the limit in KB, such as 100, 200 or 500, and download the smaller file.
JPG to PDF below 200kb, in 300 KB or below 500kb
For a one-page document, getting below 500kb is nearly always possible and the page stays easy to read. A JPG to PDF in 300 KB or below 200kb works for most single pages of text. Under 100 KB suits a simple black-on-white page, but a colour photo will look rough. If the compressor can't reach your number, it gives you the smallest file it could make and says so. The same two steps work for any image to PDF job with a limit in KB, such as an exam or bank form.
JPG to PDF below 2mb for many pages
Ten phone photos can easily make a 15 MB PDF. To bring it below 2mb, type 2000 in the compressor's target size field. When you squeeze a multi-page PDF down to 2mb, each page gets a smaller share, so crop your photos first. Converting first and compressing second is the simplest way to reduce the size of a JPG to PDF file and keep it readable.
Page size, orientation and margins explained
Same size as the image makes each page exactly as big as its picture, with no white border. It is best for screens. A4 and US Letter place each picture on a standard sheet, which is what you want for printing or for offices that expect a normal document.
With A4 or Letter you can also pick the orientation. Automatic turns the page to match each picture, so a wide photo gets a landscape page and a tall one gets portrait. Margin adds a white frame: None for edge-to-edge, Small for a neat border, Large when the pages will be punched or bound. Whatever image format you start with, the file that comes out is a standard PDF that opens in every reader.
If one page still ends up sideways, rotate the PDF pages afterwards and save.
JPG to PDF with no margin
For a JPG to PDF with no margin at all, set Margin to None and Page size to Same size as the image. The page then is the picture, edge to edge, with no white frame. Use it for photos, posters and scans that were already cropped tight. Choose None with A4 when the image should fill a standard sheet; a small strip of white can remain where the photo's shape does not match the paper.
JPG to PDF offline, apps and other ways to do it
Looking for a JPG to PDF download for your PC, or a JPG to PDF offline converter app? You may not need one. The page loads once over the internet, and from then on the converting is done by your own device, not by a server. So it behaves almost like an image to PDF offline tool: nothing is uploaded, so it stays quick on weak mobile data, and there is no JPG to PDF tool to install or update.
Think of it as an image to PDF generator that lives in a browser tab: open the page, pick your images, save the PDF.
Image to PDF scanner for paper documents
This page keeps colours as they are. For an image to PDF scanner effect, with clean grayscale or black and white pages taken straight from your phone camera, use the scan tool linked above.
JPG to PDF to Word
A picture of text is still a picture. To go from JPG to PDF to Word with editable text, convert the image here, make the PDF searchable with OCR, and then use the PDF to Word tool. No JPG to PDF to Word converter can honestly skip the middle step: without OCR, Word would only show the image. The same steps apply to any image to PDF to Word job, such as typing up a printed letter.
What is an image to PDF converter, and what can you do next
An image to PDF converter, also called an image to PDF maker, takes picture files and wraps each one as a page of a PDF document. Nothing inside the picture is changed; the PDF simply gives it a fixed page size, a page order and a file that every office, portal and printer accepts. That is what JPG to PDF means: the same photo, delivered as a document.
JPG to PDF editor: change the document after converting
Once the pictures are a PDF, open it in the PDF editor to type a name and date on a scanned form, highlight a line or place a signature image. Page numbers, a watermark and a password are separate tools on this site. To add pages later, convert the new photo and merge the two PDFs.
JPG to PDF to Excel: numbers out of a photo
A photo of a bill or a marks table is only pixels. Convert it here, make the text real with OCR, then use PDF to Excel to get the figures into cells. It works best on clear, straight, well-lit photos of printed tables; handwritten numbers rarely come through.
